Introduction
After the wild dragon fatbike rim was developed and widely recognized by the market, in 2014 year we developed the black eagle 65mm fatbike rims in two sizes of 26 inches and 27.5 inches.
Black Eagle rim continues the wild dragon design gene and concept, maintains the high strength and riding comfort, could be used to mount a narrower tire, so as to control the bicycle more flexibly when riding in mountainous areas, which greatly enhances the riding experience.
Black Eagle series have also been recognized by the market fastly. In 2016, we developed Black Eagle carbon fiber Tri-Spoke wheelset.
The tire size for this model of rim is recommended at 3.0" ~ 4.5". The tire pressure is recommended at 8 ~ 20 psi.
Design Features
Width 65mm fits more forms of cycling and keeps riding in great stability;
Deep section (34mm) could make fat bikes be used for more aggressive cycling forms;
Deep channel would help you easily install and take off a tire;
Small bead socket would lock tightly and help run tubeless perfectly;
Aero roof surface (triangle-like shape) could easily shed the dirt or mud, better to release weight during cycling;
Section of triangle's inherent feature of stability on rim design keeps rim in strong performance.
(If you've ever packed wet snow between your spokes where it sticks to rim cutouts, you know how critical this feature can be)
